Tammy Cantrell grew up with dachshunds and didn’t fall in love with Chihuahuas until she adopted her beloved Petey from CRT in 2009. She initially started out helping with administrative needs and then became involved in conducting home visits, volunteering at adoption events and speaking at local schools. She never thought she could be a foster Mom and after 2 foster failures (one she blames on her loving, supportive husband) she’s on track and has found furever homes for 5 fosters in the past year. Tammy is a Sr. Program Specialist for a consulting firm and resides in Coppell, TX
