Paco is a 16-year-old smooth Chihuahua with a striking red coat. Weighing just six pounds, he is small but full of character. As a senior dog, he enjoys a relaxed lifestyle, conserving his energy for moments of excitement, such as running around the backyard or eagerly climbing into his favorite spot—his foster Mom’s recliner.
Paco is deeply devoted to his foster Mom and takes his role as her protector very seriously. He is a true “momma’s boy” and expects that his beloved chair companion will remain in the recliner at all times. Affectionate and loving, he particularly enjoys having the top of his head scratched, relishing every moment of attention.
While he enjoys treats, peanut butter, and chicken, he is not particularly interested in his dog food, as he values comfort far more than meals. He is highly territorial about his designated spot in the recliner and dislikes anyone who might try to make him move.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of Paco’s story is how quickly he bonded with his foster Mom. After just a few days in his new home, Paco discovered that his foster Mom sleeps in a recliner, and from that moment on, he never looked back. Paco’s love and loyalty are undeniable, making him a cherished companion with a heart full of devotion.
