Meet Supernova (Nova)!
Nova has a beautiful short, sleek, black coat with a blaze of white on her chest. Nova is a Chi-Weenie (chihuahua and dachshund mix) and was born on August 18, 2024, so she is not quite 6 months old. She currently weighs about 8 pounds and we don’t expect her to get much bigger, maybe 12 pounds max.
Nova definitely fits her name – she is an explosion of energy! She sleeps well in her crate at night and doesn’t make a mess or have accidents. She is doing great with going outside to potty. Nova is a polite eater with a good appetite. She is super smart but a little unsure of big dogs. She warms up to them once she figures out they are good. She is very vocal and “talks” constantly. When she gets scared (of big dogs, for example), her bark is quite high pitched, but she does hold her own. She is not barky, but whines for your undivided attention.
Won’t you be the one to give Nova the love and attention she craves and deserves? Help her build her confidence!
Nova is pending her spay and vaccinations, but will be available for adoption after that. She will also be microchipped prior to adoption.
Nova’s adoption donation is $350.
If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
