Congratulations to Precious who has found her forever home with LJ, Dante and four-legged brother Edgar Allan (named after Edgar Allan Poe).
Precious is the sweet little Chiweenie puppy who was surrendered to CRT on New Year’s Eve. She had emergency surgery to address some life threatening blockages. We are grateful to all who contributed to save her life.
Here is an update from the family:
Precious is just as her original name implies – so precious! She blended into our family immediately. We have changed her name to Lenore. Lenore loves to play with Edgar, then cuddle with him. We often catch her cleaning his face and just showing love to her big brother. She loves being in the backyard with us. This weekend we were doing some gardening and she jumped in to “help” by rolling in the dirt. Oh she was having the time of her life! She loves to snuggle with us. You can often find her in Dante’s lap at the end of the evening where they both wind down by playing video games! And at bedtime, she is first into the bed, ready to snuggle with all of us. Thank you to CRT for saving her and to all the supporters who contributed money for her life saving surgery. A special thank you to her foster Donna. We are grateful to you for helping her heal and for choosing us as her forever family.
