This sweetheart is Junie B Jones.
Junie is a tan-colored female chihuahua in need of a forever home. It is estimated that Junie is between 7 years and 9 years old. She weighs 11 pounds.
All Junie wants is love…she just needs some patience. She has been through what no creature should have to endure. The victim of animal cruelty, she has some trust issues, but she has come a long way in trusting her foster mom. She enjoys snuggles laying right by her side, but her eyes light up when invited to climb into the lap. She gets so excited when you come home, you can see the smile and joy in her eyes. The way she lays her head on the chest tells you how much she appreciates a gentle touch.
Junie gets along with other dogs, but would rather be the only one getting all the attention. Being in a foster home with multiple dogs, she has gotten accustomed to their presence, and will join in when they run around the yard. She is a darling, beautiful, sweet little girl. She is not an active dog and is more of a couch potato, but she has her moments of playfulness. She loves doggie beds and blankets and will roll around in them and squeal with delight.
Junie can be handled carefully. She will snuggle close or even climb in your lap once she gets to know you, which doesn’t take long.
Junie is potty trained. She will walk on a leash, under protest, and if she gets scared, she will try to get out of the harness and run. Therefore, a fenced in yard is required.
She is spayed and up to date on all vetting, including dental. Junie’s mouth was very diseased when she came to CRT and the vet had to extract most of her teeth. Junie is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm prevention. She is microchipped.
She is a darling, beautiful, sweet little girl looking for her one and only.
Junie’s adoption donation is $300.00.
