Meet one of our newest CRT fosters – JoJo. Her foster parents say this is one of the best fosters they have ever had. You are guaranteed to fall in love with this girl!
JoJo is an owner surrender to CRT. Her original family is dealing with some long term medical issues. They love JoJo and asked CRT if we could bring her into our program and help her find a family who would love her as much as they do. We are happy to help – she is delightful.
JoJo gets along great with the other small dogs in her foster home. She has fit in immediately and is following the lead of the other pups. She is laid back and gets along with everyone.
JoJo loves her foster family. She loves to follow them from room to room so she can be a part of the family activity. She climbs up on your lap for lap time. She will also snuggle in her doggy bed under the blankets in the family room as everyone watches TV. She is really quiet, and rarely barks (even when the other dogs are barking!)
JoJo was born on April 15, 2019. She weighs a perfect 6.1 pounds. JoJo has a stunning tri-color coat (black, tan and white). Her little ears perk up when you call her name.
JoJo is smart. She is 100% potty trained. She has not had one accident in her foster home. She is crate trained and will sleep quietly throughout the night in her crate. We are just beginning to work with her on a harness and leash for walking.
The ideal home for JoJo would be one with moderate energy. She would love to have another dog to hang around with. She would also probably be a great only dog as long as her family was around a lot to spend time with her. She needs a family who can check on her every 4-6 hours (would not be a good fit for a family that works 10-12 hour days). There are no children in her foster home but JoJo loves people and we think she would do well with children 10 and older.
JoJo is being fostered in the Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas) area. Our CRT adoption form can be found at: http://www.chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/
JoJo is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention. Vet work is scheduled to be completed in mid-April, and she will then be ready for adoption. We are accepting applications now.
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $300.00 adoption donation required.
As part of our mission to reduce the number of unwanted and sick dogs, we require that all current pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and taking heart worm prevention. Applications will not be considered if one or more of these requirements are not met.
