Congratulations to Hunca Munch who has found her forever family with Lisa, Lee and 4 legged brother Finn.
In mid July, CRT received an emergency request to rescue a pregnant Chihuahua in Harlingen (along the South Texas border). On July 10th, we welcomed Mom and 5 newly born puppies to CRT. Hunca Munca was one of those puppies. She grew up in a CRT foster home, was fully vetted and has now been adopted into her forever home. She has great parents and a big brother Finn who loves to play with her. Her new name is “Honey Bun”, because she is the sweetest Chihuahua ever – LOL.

We absolutely love our Honey Bun. Honey Bun has an awesome personality. Honey Bun loves everyone she meets. She is gentle and she wants to be everyone’s best friend. Honey Bun adores Finn and enjoys playing with him. Oh they are having so much fun together. She also plays with every toy in the house. Honey Bun is leash trained and we go on daily walks. Honey Bun is very curious on her walks and has become a favorite in the neighborhood. She is super smart. She will “sit” for treats and she is potty trained. She loves belly rubs and gives you the cutest smile that melts our hearts. Honey Bun has quickly become a “Daddy’s Girl”. Wherever Lee goes, Honey Bun follows. When he runs errands, she sits in the window and waits for him to return. Then she wags her little tail and welcomes him home. Honey Bun loves lap time with Daddy. She is super sweet and loyal. We adore this girl and are thrilled to have her as part of our family. A special thank you to Marya and her family fostering her!
