Hey there, Delilah!
Delilah is a 2 year old female chihuahua mix who entered rescue recently with her mother and two siblings. Delilah is currently 9.5 pounds. She is black and white.
Delilah LOVES other dogs, and gets along well with pups of all sizes. She is a very sweet girl who is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She loves to cuddle underneath the covers but also really enjoys fetching tennis balls and chewing on collagen sticks. She is still getting used to leash walking but is making great progress! So far she doesn’t like to potty while on a leash, but she has no problems going potty outside in a fenced yard. Delilah hasn’t been tested with cats. She is somewhat timid around children but is not aggressive.
Delilah is up to date on her vaccinations and has been fully vetted. She is spayed and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and takes monthly heartworm prevention.
Delilah’s adoption donation is $300.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so our southeast dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
