Carmen is a 15-year-old smooth Chihuahua with a beautiful fawn-colored coat. Weighing only eight pounds, she may be small in size, but she has a personality that leaves a lasting impression. As a senior dog, she enjoys a slower pace of life, spending much of her time sleeping. However, when it comes to treats, peanut butter, and mealtime, she suddenly becomes animated and full of enthusiasm.
Carmen is a mix of friendliness and shyness, always seeking attention on her own terms. She has a unique Chihuahua version of obsessive-compulsive tendencies, particularly when it comes to food and keeping track of where people are. While she is incredibly sweet and loving, she prefers to dictate how and when she receives affection. When the moment is right, she absolutely adores being scratched, petted, and showered with love.
Her preferences are quite specific—she loves treats, enjoys food, and always wants to know where everyone is at all times. However, she strongly dislikes being picked up or being off the ground. One of her most particular dislikes is having her nails trimmed.
Despite her quirks, one of Carmen’s most heartwarming traits is her devotion to her Dad. Even when she knows exactly where he is, she still searches for him, as if making sure he is never too far away. Carmen’s unique personality, loving nature, and senior wisdom make her a truly special companion.
