Papito, aka Peppy, is a black and tan male chi mix who, with his pointed ears, long nose, and sleek frame, looks a lot like a Doberman. He was surrendered to the Durham County shelter extremely underweight with terrible skin issues. He now has a beautiful shiny coat and is starting to fill out! Papito weighs about 7 pounds and is about 2 years old.
Papito is the sweetest little man, once he gets to know you, which only takes a minute or two. He loves to play and do zoomies, and is always ready to give hugs and kisses. He is mostly housetrained, as with most small dogs, they have their weak moments. He gets along well with other dogs and would probably do best with a playmate. Papito walks well on leash and will sit on command for treats. He loves to spend his days patrolling the yard and enjoying the sunshine.
Papito is neutered and up-to-date with vaccines and heartworm preventative. He has been fully vetted. Papito is heartworm negative. He is microchipped.
Papito’s adoption donation is $300.
