Congratulations to Cody who has found his forever family with April, Clarence, Joy and 3 fur siblings!
Cody’s elderly owner was breeding Chihuahuas and unfortunately passed away. The family found four Chihuahua puppies left behind in the home and reached out to CRT for help. Cody was one of these Chihuahuas and we were happy to bring him into our program. April and Clarence love dogs and were smitten by Cody’s story. When Cody met their family, it was a perfect fit. We are thrilled that he has found his forever home. With a new family comes a new name – Taco! Congratulations to Taco and his new family.
Here is an update from his family:
Cody, now named Taco, feels like he has been with us forever! He fit in immediately. Taco is so sweet. He loves to cuddle and he follows us everywhere. His sibling chihuahuas are a little older and will play with him for a while. Then they all snuggle together for some nap time. Taco enjoys running both in the backyard and in the house. He really loves toys and plays with them all day. Taco will carry toys everywhere so he always has one near. We love the joy and energy he has brought to our lives. He is so cute – we adore him. Thank you to his foster, Barbara, for taking such great care of him. We appreciate everything CRT does to save Chihuahuas in North Texas. Keep up the great work!
